Beautiful Pohara Beach is a short drive from Takaka on the road to Abel Tasman National Park. It’s a summer mecca for holiday-makers, and the nearest beach to my studio/gallery. A great spot to walk the dog, windsurf, and watch the sun go down over the sea with a glass of fine pinot noir. Pohara Beach paintings feature often in my gallery. The sculptured limestone sea-cliffs and rata trees contrasting with a peaceful shore. Such inspiration!
